As someone who is relatively new in the youth work, I found this course more than valuable. It gave me not only an insight into the most important components of the youth work, but also a lot of tools and material that can deepen my knowledge and that I will definitely use in my work. A variety of information shown through notes, videos, challenges, tests etc. makes you motivated and eager to discover new chapters. Very original design of the website and activities leads you through the mixture of the fiction and reality, making the learning process very enjoyable. This course was a unique and incredible journey for me. This is the first e-course dedicated to the youth workers' profession, which I have found so far and it was a real pleasure for me to go through it. I really liked the structure of the course, the topics selected and the information provided - every piece of the educational content was very clear, deep explored and straight to the point. And for those ones, who would like to explore further the authors of the course have prepared various extra materials - articles, documents, books and videos. Another great feature of this course was the fact that the authors have prepared various types of activities, in order to respond to the different learning needs of the participants - audio-visual presentations, reading books, space for interaction with the others, interactive games and quizzes and last, but not the least - time and attention was given to individual analyse and reflection, so the participants can go through the learned material and connect the theory with their real life and work. The youth worker course online surprised me by its structure, way of presenting the information, the interactivity of the information. I didn't expect to have such patience to follow it entirely as I had a very busy period at work but it was so catchy and I found so much new and interesting information for me that made me want to read all about it and take all the challenges and do all the quizzes. It really got my attention and it is by far the best online course I ever had. The audio-video presentation were very good and it gave me an example of how should I improve my one presentations.
